so basically a week ago this guy bought a copy of majora:s mask at a garage sale and hes gone through hell since and recorder his thoughts about it. he has since dropped out of colledge and has stopped updateing. he has videos that show what he is going through while playing this game for "proof". also today we are sapposed to be given acces to "the truth" which i guess explains everything.

so jump in and get "scared" to death byt the horrors of majoras mask.

it didnt end with the story, no this thing runs alot deeper then some fan fic. its all happening real time so jump in.

I like creepy old "hacks" like this... something is honestly intriguing about them >.> With this, it probably goes more into the gothic grotesque though... It scares me, but I can't stop watching xD;

Poor guy if it's real, but I do doubt that it is indeed the case >.> Some people have made convincing cases for this being a ROM hack, which seems the most logical idea *shrugs*

Of course it's a hack. Look at the fucking definition on those videos, it's obvious that it's being captured from an emulator. An N64 isn't even that high resolution--so if he had a capture card, it wouldn't even look that good. (And his post implies that he started recording "halfway through playing" which would mean his N64 is always hooked up to his capture card. Yeah right.)

I mean, it's creepypasta. Half of the fun is believing it but half of it is finding out where there's deliberate holes. Like the old You Killed Gary Oak's Raticate thing.

EDIT: Also like half the footage in one of the videos is from fucking Ocarina of Time.

This is AWESOME! I mean, of course it's a hack, as well as some Gameshark codes and clever video editing, but who cares? The story is great, and the whole thing is just fascinating. I can't believe anyone wold go to these lengths just for a story, but it works and works well.

I'm hoping for some more to the story, soon. I mean, "The counter has been reset", so three days after that video, something could happen.

Isn't that, like, tomorrow?

This is awesome. Like, seriously. I've always wanted to be part of an ARG.

In my search for clues, I found something interesting that's probably meaningless. I was looking at the URLs for the staff images on the About page, and all of them match their screennames - except for Ifrit. Ifrit's image's filename is Ebon.jpg. Duskworld's is different, too, but it's "Darkworld", and on the main page he mentioned that he had changed his name, so I'm not looking too far into that one.

There are less than 4 hours left until The Fourth Day. No idea what's going to happen.

As in Jadused.wmv the Mask of Truth faces the rupies, to which are 88.
